Working as a news anchor in some of the country's largest markets including Seattle, Boston, Miami, and Baltimore, Matt developed an audience engagement style all his own.

He has a true passion for hosting fundraising events for nonprofit organizations including Special Olympics Washington, Seattle Children’s Hospital, Woodland Park Zoo, The Museum of Flight, Camp Korey, EvergreenHealth Foundation, Northwest Kidney Centers, Boyer Children’s Clinic, Mary’s Place, Cancer Pathways, Seattle Works, PROVAIL, Bridge Disability Ministries, Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center, America Scores Seattle and numerous local private schools and PTSA's and PTA's. 

Matt is a proud product of the Bellevue School District, attending Cherry Crest Elementary, Odle Middle School, then graduating from Sammamish High School. His mother was a public school teacher at Somerset Elementary in Bellevue for 22 years.
