Working as a news anchor and reporter in some of the country's largest markets including Seattle, Boston, Miami, and Baltimore, Matt developed an audience engagement style all his own.
He has a true passion for hosting fundraising events for nonprofit organizations including Special Olympics Washington, Seattle Children’s Hospital, Woodland Park Zoo, Camp Korey, The Museum of Flight, Mary’s Place, EvergreenHealth Foundation, Northwest Kidney Centers, Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center, Boyer Children’s Clinic, Cancer Pathways, StolenYouth, Seattle Works, PROVAIL, Bridge Disability Ministries, America Scores Seattle and numerous local private schools and PTA's.
Matt grew up in the area and is a product of Bellevue Public Schools (Cherry Crest Elementary, Odle Middle School, Sammamish High School). His mother taught at Somerset Elementary in Bellevue for 22 years.

C.R. Douglas is the Political Analyst for Q13 News in Seattle, where he has been since 2011. He can also be heard regularly on KUOW/ NPR Radio.
Prior to joining Q13 News, C.R. served as a public affairs host, moderator and producer at the Seattle Channel from 2002 to 2011. He hosted the local public affairs program "Northwest Week" on KBTC/ PBS from 1998 to 2002.
C.R. is the recipient of 4 NW Regional Emmy Awards for his work.
He attended Medina Elementary, Chinook Junior High, and Bellevue High School, where he served as ASB Student Body President his senior year.
He is a graduate of Stanford University, with Honors.
